We’ll trace the milestones that brought us the dynamic, interactive web, touching on key innovations like CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React. However, along the way, we’ll reflect on the critical moments where things may have taken a wrong turn—whether it's about overcomplicated tools, bloated websites that sacrifice speed and accessibility, or the overwhelming choice of frameworks that can paralyse development.

The goal is to examine how we got here, what can be improved, and how we can simplify and refocus web development for a more efficient, user-centred future.
